Treatment options include the use of sunscreen, skin lightening products, chemical peels and laser treatments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sun Spots (Sun Freckles or Lentigo): Brown spots that appear on the skin as a result of prolonged exposure to the sun. Treatment options include chemical peels, laser treatments and cryotherapy (freezing treatment).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation: Dark spots caused by acne, wounds or skin irritation. Treatment options may include topical agents (e.g. hydroquinone, retinoids), chemical peels and micro-needling.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Age Spots (Lentigo Senilis or Solar Lentigo): These are dark spots that appear with age. Treatment options include chemical peels, laser treatments and cryotherapy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Legionella Melanocytic Disease (Legionella Nevus): This is a condition where large, dark patches appear in groups on the skin. Treatment options may include laser treatments, surgical removal and skin grafts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vitiligo Vitiligo is an autoimmune disease that causes white patches to appear on the skin.
